Biography

Alexander Buritica is an applied microeconomist dedicated to research in development and agricultural economics. His research interests focus on unraveling the intricate dynamics within agricultural value chains, productivity, and technology adoption at both firm and farm producer levels. He employs diverse quantitative methods, including causal inference, experimental and quasi-experimental approaches, and surveys, to delve into incentives, behaviors, practices, and institutions shaping these domains.
